Environment Missouri Staff
Based in St. Louis, State Advocate Ted Mathys oversees Environment Missouri's campaigns and works to mobilize citizens and political leaders to come together for Missouri's air, water, and open spaces. Prior to joining Environment Missouri, he ran international exchange programs for environmental leaders and urban planners as Program Coordinator at the American Council on Germany; and conducted research on energy savings from recycling with Chintan Environmental Research & Action Center, a non-profit environmental justice group in New Delhi that advocates on behalf of India's disadvantaged recycling communities. He holds a master's degree in international environmental policy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and a bachelor's degree in political science from Carleton College.
